imagining how the church can reorient around mission

Egypt’s majority Muslim population stuck to its word Thursday night. What had been a promise of solidarity to the weary Coptic community, was honoured, when thousands of Muslims showed up at Coptic Christmas eve mass services in churches around the country and at candle light vigils held outside.

Well, there ya go. In midst of a tragic and horrible situation there is a glimmer of hope shining.
Christ have mercy.

Thanks for posting this. Just an amazing showing of love in Egypt. This is exactly what the relationship between Muslims and Christians should be like: one of mutual respect and love for fellow humans despite religious differences. Just really touched by this story and I’m sure I would not have seen it if you didn’t post it. A wonderful wonderful story. Thanks again.
